My name is Candice and I am the manager at Splash Day Nursery.
I currently hold a level 5 Diploma in Childcare and a level 3 for SENCO’s in Early Years.
I have worked in the Early Years sector for nearly 10 years and in this time I have gained vital knowledge that has helped me achieve “good” and “outstanding” grades from Ofsted throughout my career.
As a manager, I am passionate about staff development and encourage my team to broaden their knowledge by providing them with beneficial training opportunities.
One of my strengths is working with children who have additional needs by providing a safe and inspiring learning environment, and truly helping children to flourish in their life and education.
I consider myself a fully engaged, committed and creative individual who is able to make learning fun and encourage exploration through play. I am someone who is committed to my role and giving children the best possible start in life. I will do everything possible to provide children with a true solid foundation for their future.
With a deep passion for early years education and a heart for nurturing young minds, I have dedicated my career to creating enriching learning environments where children can thrive. Beginning my journey as an apprentice in 2016, I worked my way up to Room Leader and Student Mentor, supporting both children and aspiring educators. Since stepping into my role as Deputy Manager in 2021, I have continued to champion high-quality early childhood experiences, fostering a compassionate, inclusive, and inspiring space for every child to learn, grow, and flourish.
